The Zitouna Mosque is located in the heart of the Medina of Tunis, Tunisia. It is one of the oldest and most significant mosques in the country, with its origins dating back to the 8th century. The mosque is open to visitors, but it is recommended to dress modestly and remove shoes before entering.

The mosque is open daily from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm, except during prayer times. There is no admission fee to enter the mosque.

In the surrounding area, visitors can explore the winding streets and alleys of the Medina, which is a UNESCO World Heritage site. Other nearby attractions include the Bardo Museum, which houses an impressive collection of Roman mosaics, and the Dar Ben Abdallah Museum, which showcases traditional Tunisian architecture and design.

The Bardo Museum is open from Tuesday to Sunday, 9:30 am to 4:30 pm, with a ticket price of 15 Tunisian dinars. The Dar Ben Abdallah Museum is open daily from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, with a ticket price of 10 Tunisian dinars.
